Office Manager Trainees
Office Manager Trainees aim to become office managers who lead and develop Total Life Plan Designers, pursuing careers as professionals in sales office management. To prepare for appointment as office managers from their sixth year with the company, they undertake a special five-year training program that enables them to acquire a wide range of knowledge and experience essential for the role, including management capabilities and interpersonal negotiation skills. Upon completion of the training program, they assume management responsibilities at sales offices as professionals specializing in the development of Total Life Plan Designers. While accumulating diverse experience across sales operations, they progress step by step to higher-level positions such as Block Manager, Area Manager, and Branch Manager—each representing a higher stage in both the scale and complexity of responsibility.
Five-year Development Program
Trainees undergo a five-year training program in order to acquire a broad range of knowledge and skills. During the first year, they acquire insurance- and finance-related knowledge as well as interpersonal and negotiation skills for both individual and corporate clients through hands-on sales activities.
During the second and third years, they gain hands-on experience through branch office training assignments, primarily supporting corporate client development activities for assigned sales offices as members of corporate sales teams at branch offices, while also gaining experience in branch office administrative operations. In addition to the sales channels learned in the first year, they deepen their understanding of other channels and develop a more advanced, strategic perspective.
In the fourth and fifth years, they engage in practical training through sales office assignments, where they take responsibility for supervising and developing assigned Total Life Plan Designers while further enhancing their management skills as well as their capabilities in market development and market analysis. Throughout the five‑year curriculum, they work continuously to develop the skills needed to become high-performing office managers who can formulate sales strategies as experts in market development and provide broad‑based sales guidance to Total Life Plan Designers.
