Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. (Representative Director, President and CEO: Tetsuya Kikuta, hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), in collaboration with the International Mozarteum Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation"), held a press conference at the Dai-ichi Life Hibiya Headquarters to present Mozart's catalog of works, the "Köchel Catalogue," for the first time in Japan. Dr. Ulrich Leisinger of the International Mozarteum Foundation and Seiji Inagaki, Director and Chair of the Board of the Company, took the stage at the event. They unveiled a new edition of the "Köchel Catalogue," the first update in 60 years, based on decades of research conducted by the Foundation. They introduced newly added musical scores to the "Köchel Catalogue," and three of these pieces were performed live for the first time in Japan. The Foundation had previously announced the new edition of the "Köchel Catalogue" in Salzburg, Austria, on September 19th, and this press conference in Japan follows that announcement. It is hoped that this series of announcements in both countries will renew interest in Mozart's musical legacy.
